I am an rc plane builder, and want authentic photos of vietnam era piper cubs. not the bird dog, not the os-2 … specifically the piper cub platform
The Piper L-4 Grasshopper was a WWII vintage aircraft, and by the time of the Vietnam war, had been replaced by the Cessna L-19 / O-1 Bird Dog. I don’t know of any Piper cubs in service during the Vietnam war… At least not operated by US forces. It’s possible the RVN Air Force could have had a few.
