My friend and I are having a debate, I say is a ps3 is plugged into a HD TV by just a YELLOW RED WHITE cable you CANNOT be viewing the game in HD he says that if a ps3 is plugged into a HD TV by a yellow red white cable the game you are playing is being viewed in HD… Who is right?
no the red and white are audio for left and right speakers and yellow is analog video signal, you will only get 480i and not HD, in order to get 720p/1080i gaming you need the red/white/green/red/blue component cables and if you want true 1080p you need a HDMI cable and your TV needs a HDMI input.
